The Dominican Style has a lot of fast footwork which goes with its fast music tempo, while the sensual bachata is more about body isolations and the music is slower and more melodious.
Given the body isolations, the Sensual Bachata is danced closer than the Dominican style. You can wear anything in which you feel comfortable. There is no particular thing to wear, while learning the bachata dance.
Preferably yes and we help you get good quality customised shoes at reasonable cost (350 AED). However, we don’t advise you to invest till you wish to dance for a few months, in that case just carry socks to help you swivel and not injure yourself. You can dance in your regular shoes but that’s at your own risk.

Infact, coupling a club form with a pure Latin like Jive, Rumba, etc. Has shown better effectiveness in the learning process. It doubles up your learning pace.
